8 Indonesian Children Demands to Government

JAKARTA, - A total of 400 children from all over Indonesia following the XI Congress of the Son of Indonesia Year 2012 in Batam from March 9 to July 14, 2012. Of Congress, formulated eight point demands of Indonesian children to the government .
Originally, the National Children's Day commemorated today, but due to the tight schedule of the president, the annual celebration was postponed to September 2012. Komnas PA wasdisappointment over the impending ceremony. Chairman of the Komnas PA, Arist Merdeka Sirait judged it to be evidence of lack
of government commitment to the children of Indonesia.Eight charges was read by two representatives of Voice of Indonesian Children's Congress, who are Berlinda Nefertiti Goldy (Ambassador of Education of West Java and I Gede Reza (Health Ambassador of Bali). Charges was read out at the office of Komnas PA, Jl. TB Simatupang, Pasar Rebo, Eastern Jakarta, Monday (07/23/2012).Here are eight demands children in Indonesia to the government.1. We are the children of Indonesia proposed to the government for education on adolescent reproductive health included in the curriculum as well as improved control toward pornography.2. We are the children of Indonesia asked the government to improve the quality of teaching staff, distribution of educational facilities, providing a 12-year compulsory education free of charge in order to create equitable quality education for all children without discrimination.3. We are the children of Indonesia proposed that government can make equalization facilities. Facilities and infrastructure (electricity, transport, communication), particularly in isolated areas so isolated children can interact with friends who are in other areas.4. We are the children of Indonesia pleaded to the government to revive traditional games and educational Indonesia, as well as close monitoring of access to online games and broadcast electronic media that is not feasible for the child.5. We are the children of Indonesia pleaded to the government to increase the closer scrutiny of all forms of circulation of narcotics, psychotropic drugs, alcohol and other addictive substances, including cigarettes as a form of protection of children.6. We are the children of Indonesia begging the government to provide free Internet service specifically for children (car internet, home internet, user ID specifically children) for children in Indonesia connected to each other.7. We  are children of Indonesia ask the government and society contribute to the fulfillment of children's participation rights without discrimination.8. We are children of Indonesia ask the government to follow up and implement the Child's voice in Indonesia decision-making related to the child.(Kompas/com)
